About 15 years ago, after gradually becoming ill, I was finally diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, ME for short, sometimes also called chronic fatigue syndrome. Some 250,000 people have this in the UK and we suffer a wide variety of different symptoms; for me these are debilitating fatigue, dizzyness, muscle pain, poor sleep and “brain fog”.
